Setting up the trial

The putting green was divided into 8 x 1m wide plots spanning the full length of the green, approximately 10 metres each. Each plot was marked with white paint in the corners with a number assigned to all plots to be treated (Zone 1, 3, 5, 7). This was done on 30/10/2023 at 7am, ahead of any play taking place that day.
